CryptoPics

CryptoPics (also known as Nonograms or Griddlers) are logic puzzles originating in Japan, in which the aim is to reveal a hidden picture by looking at the number clues. With this fully-featured software you can play pre-made picture puzzles, randomly generated puzzles and puzzles created from image files. It includes a built-in Puzzle Editor, allowing you to draw your own CryptoPics, a unique Challenge Mode, where you can play puzzles of increasing difficulty against the clock, and a mode based on Minesweeper. Additional puzzles to play with this software are available on-line.

Erase the numbers when a row or column are finished, making it easier to find the ones you are working on. Also, a crosshair type highlight would be helpful on larger puzzles.

Have a reset button so you can quickly clear the board to start over.

have the games select themselves rather than having me pick which one to play. I'd like them to progress from easy to hard, or be able to select the skill leavel and have the games be selected for me.

have the game end when all the correct squares are colored in. I don't want to have to x out all the other squares

grade puzzles from easy to hard to introduce users

; give a textual clue to the image being decoded; give a hint button where correct pieces are coloured (and left in puzzle with others removed?)

A nice touch would be to blank out the number clues on a completed row or column .

Change direct from Block to Empty and vice versa

To change a mark from Block to Empty, you have to left-click first (to 'switch off' the Block mark) THEN right-click to mark the square as Empty. It should instead be possible to make right-click change a square IMMEDIATELY from Block to Empty;...

see at a glance which levels I have already played. I don't want to have to click on a level, say, yup, I've already played this one, and then click on the next one, and the next, and the next until I get to one I haven't played.

Make the game run without needing .NET Framework.

Some people might not have it nor want it on their computers.

Have the 'New' button not cut off to read 'Ne'

On my PC (running XP), the New button in the toolbar shows as 'Ne' because it presumably is not wide enough! This is the case even when the window is resized or maximised to full screen.

Create new Themes, or load a background

Although the themes provided are fine, it would be even better to be able to either load an image as the background. better still would be the ability to create new themes, to change the font of any text object as well.

nanosweeper mode needs to change colors when cleared. It's really hard to tell which square is clear and which is available

Please make sure that the data provided is correct. I like the game, but when I randomly tried to play BonusPack07, I quickly discovered an error. After filling in the easy Row 19, I tried to fill in the equally easy Column 2, but the game showed I
